Creativity has ushered my collaborative and teachable spirit throughout my career. Marrying creativity and service has been a core touchpoint throughout my career. After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Film and Television from Regent University, I started my current position at Kingdom Story Company, where I serve in the Administrative Assistant role. I utilize my strengths in film editing, service, leadership, and availability to empower the company’s creative leaders as they pursue bold new creative ventures. These opportunities for service have been a home for my creative development, storytelling, and leadership skills, and have exposed me to excited ways to connect with audiences around the world. I harbor everything I learn in my career setting and bring it to the independent production setting, mainly my production company Attic Orpheum Productions. Under that banner, I have written, produced, and directed narrative short films, documentaries, and animated projects. Through each of these productions, I have aimed to expand my own knowledge of storyteller, while encouraging the skills of others in my field. Florence Film Awards-Winner “Jennie” was my first foray into animation, and my first time co-director with Collaborative Efforts Animation co-founder, Courtland Hodges. That partnership launched a new vision that brought the idea of our next film, Motion, to the forefront of our creative ambitions. My heart is to foster, create, and cultivate diverse and beautiful stories that impact not just our world, but the vast communities within. Attic Orpheum and Collaborative Efforts are examples of that very mission.
